Aimed at

The Master in Biotechnology Management is aimed at professionals who want to enhance their opportunities within the biotechnology industry or who are coming from other industries and seeking a career change into the biotechnology sector. It is also designed for participants who are unable or unwilling to leave their place of residence and work for extended periods of time.

Structure

  • Face to Face Periods
    Work on concepts and skills that require face-to-face contact with professors and fellow students. Running for two weeks each, the first and last periods take place in Madrid, with the second in Boston, USA.
  • Online Periods
    The virtual campus is the fundamental point of reference for the online activities that form a communication platform for group work and for the online sessions hosted by professors. Students participate in online forums with easy access to the comments, opinions and experiences of professors and fellow students. These online forums will be active 24 hours a day, allowing convenient time management and facilitating active participation.

The Online Experience

The online format allows students from anywhere in the world and with any working timetable or travelling requirements to attend the Master in Biotechnology Management. Based on the case method, it allows the participant to adopt a proactive attitude, thanks to a highly motivating methodology that ensures intensive communication, enthusiasm, interest, and commitment at every stage.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (or degree equivalent to 180 Eurocredits).
  • Professional experience in any field.
  • Sufficient proficiency in the English language.
  • Complete application with supporting documents:
    • Application form.
    • Photocopy of Passport or ID Card.
    • One passport-sized photo (with name on the back).
    • Curriculum vitae (one page).
    • 3 essays.
    • Photocopies of diplomas and certificates.
    • Certificate of current work.
    • Application fee.
  • Interview

In order to evaluate each candidature more thoroughly, the Admissions Committee may require the GMAT/GRE/ IE Admissions Test and/or the TOEFL examination.
